I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving clients in South Florida. I am an Afro-Latina of Panamanian roots who engages clients in English and Spanish.
I received my bachelor’s degree in Sociology at Florida State University and master’s degree in Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University.
My approach in serving clients is client-centered and eclectic as I utilize techniques that best fit my client’s needs. I believe in the value of the therapeutic relationship where trust, nonjudgmental interactions, and positive regard fosters the foundation for emotional wellness.
I am looking forward to meeting you and walking next to you in this journey of self-discovery and equanimity.

Introduction to EMDR Therapy
Becoming a mother can be an exciting, rewarding, and huge undertaking all at the same time. One in seven women will struggle with symptoms of Postpartum Depression (PPD) or Postpartum Anxiety (PPA). Mom’s Voice is a support group that welcomes mothers who are or think they are struggling with Postpartum Depression and/or Anxiety to a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space to learn and process together. By joining this support group, you have a chance to gain evidenced based coping tools, develop connections with other mothers, and benefit from the reassurance that you are not alone, there is hope, and with treatment, you will be well.
Mom’s Voice will be held weekly for six weeks for a duration of 1.5 hours. Different topics will be discussed related to coping tools, self-care, what to expect, questions to ask your provider when considering medication, communicating with your partner, attachment with your baby, and healing through art. This will be considered a closed group where we offer up to 10 mothers to participate as group members.
Financial Investment: $45 per session or health insurance if in network
